How We Use Your Information
- To personalize your skincare routine and recommendations

- We do not use facial photos for facial recognition, identity verification, or to create biometric templates, faceprints, or facial embeddings.
Data Storage
Your personal data, including skin profile data, diary entries, photos, and analysis results, is stored locally on your device.
We do not store your photos or skincare analysis data on our own servers.
When you use the AI skin analysis feature, facial photos captured in the app are transmitted to OpenAI solely to generate the requested skin analysis.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- OpenAI — to process facial photos submitted by the user solely for AI skin analysis
- RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions
- PostHog — for anonymous usage analytics
These services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies. We do not provide PostHog or RevenueCat with facial photos used for skin analysis.
Face Data
dewytime may collect photos of a user’s face when the user chooses to use the AI skin analysis feature. The app asks the user to capture three facial photos: one frontal photo, one left profile photo, and one right profile photo.
These facial photos are used only to analyze visible skin concerns, such as redness, acne, dark spots, and similar skin-related conditions, and to generate skin reports and progress insights for the user.
dewytime does not use face data for facial recognition, identity verification, or to create biometric templates, faceprints, or facial embeddings.
Facial photos are stored locally on the user’s device. dewytime does not store facial photos or derived analysis results on its own servers.
When a user uses the AI skin analysis feature, the facial photos are transmitted to OpenAI solely for the purpose of generating the requested skin analysis. dewytime does not use facial photos to train its own models.
Data Retention
Face photos and derived skin analysis results are retained locally on the user’s device until the user deletes them.
If a user deletes a saved photo within the app, that photo is removed from the app on that device.
If a user deletes the app, locally stored app data is deleted from that device.
Subscriptions
dewytime offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your device’s Account Settings.
Children’s Privacy
dewytime is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
